Senior Mixed-use Apartment complex, Montebello

A 73 unit project completed 12% under budget and Managed by Kondor’s Principal for Pacific Development.

Metro Mission Valley Apartments, San Diego

Construction Manager for Dinerstein, helped the Owner complete the apartment complex ahead of schedule and under budget.

Axis Apartments, 1200 S Broadway

Suffolk Construction from Boston entrusted Kondor Builder to ensure the successful completion of the structural scope of these two eight-story iconic buildings located in the packed area of downtown Los Angeles.

Kondor Builders met the tight 2.5-year schedule of this iconic building despite numerous challenges faced in the high-traffic areas of downtown Los Angeles.

As the Construction Manager under Fassberg Construction, Kondor Builders was key in ensuring the completion of this highly successful apartment project.

Kondor Builders managed the construction for Wood Partners. Despite numerous challenges, our planning and risk control helped keep the project on schedule & $500,000 under budget. 

The Roy in West Los Angeles.

A meticulous construction plan was excellently managed by Kondor Builders, allowing the owners to complete the project on time, and $350,000 under budget. 

HOSPITALITY

311 unit beachfront resort on Kauai’s East shore

This project was renovated to a Marriott Courtyard Brand and resold, enabling the Owners to gain a $12M profit.

Gallery at River Ridge, on the River Ridge Golf Club

This is one of Oxnard’s most prestigious neighborhoods. These homes feature a community center complete with a swimming pool and generous open spaces. Completed phase IV in October 2020, The Gallery outranks the competition in quality, price, and aesthetics.

THE TEAM

John Stinson, the President of Kondor Builders, has been in the construction industry since 1978 and for the last 35 years, in Southern California.

John started his professional journey in the heavy industrial and pipeline sector, gaining experience across countries. In 1986, he transitioned into building construction and construction management, earning certification as a Class A & B contractor with CSLB.

John has provided efficient value-engineering proposals on Kondor’s projects that, put together, have resulted in more than $40 million in savings for owners. Always challenging the norms and pushing the boundaries of what is possible, John’s constant innovations make clients, partners, and subcontractors the best that they can be.

The best ideas come from individuals who share their knowledge and unique experiences with each other, while remaining focused on achieving the same goals.
